Steve and Deb McHone
Deborah and I have were married in 1975 and began attending GraceLife in 2016 when we moved back to the Twin Cities. Previously I was Assoc. Pastor at Redeeming Grace Bible Church in Yankton, SD. Prior to our move there, Deb and I lived 12 years in Blaine, while I served on staff of MN Teen Challenge and Life Rebuilders in Minneapolis. I’m a native Iowan and graduate of Grace University in Omaha (B.A., 1979), and Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M., 1985). Most of my career has involved pastoral ministry in the Midwest (ordained by the EFCA). Currently I’m employed by Efficient School Transportation which offers Type III transportation services to schools across the Twin Cities area. I trusted Christ as my Savior at age 10, and Debbie at 16. My primary areas of ministry at GraceLife involve teaching, along with some preaching, playing the trombone on the worship team, and social media. My other interests include sports–avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes (esp. football & wrestling), MN Vikings, and LA Dodgers; dispensational free-grace theology (what drew me to GraceLife), biblical 6-day creation, apologetics, and end-times prophecy. Debbie has served GraceLife as Women’s Bible Study Coordinator and is employed by Twin Cities Spine Center in their Minneapolis office. We both grew up in the same church and school district in central Iowa and have four grown children, ten grandchildren, and a pet beagle. We truly consider it an honor to serve our Lord through GraceLife Church.
